Espacement des plantes

L'espacement des plantes est basé sur la largeur ultime des plantes. Ce chiffre est normalement donné sous forme de fourchette; par exemple, 3-5'. Si vous vivez dans un climat froid et/ou souhaitez que les plantes se remplissent plus rapidement, prévoyez un espacement à l'extrémité la plus courte de la plage. Si vous vivez dans un climat chaud, avez un budget limité ou êtes prêt à attendre plus longtemps que les plantes se touchent, utilisez le haut de gamme. Il est recommandé d'utiliser le plus grand nombre lors du calcul de la distance à partir d'un bâtiment ou d'une structure. Il n'y a vraiment pas d'"espacement maximum": si vous ne voulez pas que vos plantes se touchent, vous pouvez les espacer autant que vous le souhaitez. Tous les espacements des plantes sont calculés au centre, ou en d'autres termes, les centres des plantes sont espacés de la moitié de leur largeur éventuelle :

Parfaites pour ceux qui ont de petits espaces ou des jardins, ces hortensias vous offrent tous les grands amours que vous avez appris à connaître et à aimer des hortensias sans prendre trop de place. Ne pensez jamais que vous n'avez pas de place pour un hortensia... ou encore trois avec cette collection d'arbustes parfaitement dimensionnés. La collection comprend un de chacun des éléments suivants :   DÉTAILS Zone: 5 – 9 (avec Invincibelle Wee White étant rustique dans les zones 3-9)

 Comment grandir Sol: Moyenne, humidité moyenne, sols bien drainés. Paillez pour conserver l'humidité et protéger les températures du sol.
Lumière: La plupart des variétés tolèrent le plein soleil dans le Nord, mais bénéficient de l'ombre de l'après-midi et d'une humidité constante. Dans le sud, les plantes ont besoin d'ombre l'après-midi.
Eau: Arrosez pour garder le sol humide, mais pas mouillé.
Espacement: 2-3 pieds
Fertilisation: Fertilisez une fois au printemps avec un engrais conçu pour favoriser la floraison, comme un engrais pour roses.
Hivernage : Enlevez le feuillage tombé et ajoutez une couche de 2 à 3 pouces de paillis d'écorce déchiqueté pour conserver l'humidité et éviter les dommages causés par le froid aux racines.
Entretien & Taille : Peu ou pas d'élagage sauf pour enlever le bois mort au début du printemps. A l'exception d'Invincibelle Wee White® qui peut être taillée au printemps et encore fleurir. Nous recommandons de couper d'un tiers de sa longueur totale au début du printemps.
