Espacement des plantes

L'espacement des plantes est basé sur la largeur ultime des plantes. Ce chiffre est normalement donné sous forme de fourchette; par exemple, 3-5'. Si vous vivez dans un climat froid et/ou souhaitez que les plantes se remplissent plus rapidement, prévoyez un espacement à l'extrémité la plus courte de la plage. Si vous vivez dans un climat chaud, avez un budget limité ou êtes prêt à attendre plus longtemps que les plantes se touchent, utilisez le haut de gamme. Il est recommandé d'utiliser le plus grand nombre lors du calcul de la distance à partir d'un bâtiment ou d'une structure. Il n'y a vraiment pas d'"espacement maximum": si vous ne voulez pas que vos plantes se touchent, vous pouvez les espacer autant que vous le souhaitez. Tous les espacements des plantes sont calculés au centre, ou en d'autres termes, les centres des plantes sont espacés de la moitié de leur largeur éventuelle :

Description Certains classiques résistent à l'épreuve du temps, comme le thym anglais (Thymus vulgaris) par exemple. Cette herbe robuste à faible croissance peut facilement être utilisée dans des applications ornementales pour fournir la verdure luxuriante et agréablement parfumée dont nous dépendons. Cultiver le thym entre les pavés, en bordure ou en pot vous donnera accès à ses nombreuses qualités. Dans les zones de circulation, un simple coup de pinceau suffit pour libérer son parfum dans l'air et vous rappeler de couper un peu pour l'utiliser dans votre prochain repas savoureux. Il est également très attrayant pour les abeilles et les papillons au printemps lorsque son spectacle de fleurs rose pâle arrive en multitude, apportant beaucoup de nectar pour les pollinisateurs affamés.  Comment grandir Sol: Pousse facilement dans les sols moyens, mais préfère les sols sablonneux ou rocheux avec un bon drainage. Tolère et performe bien dans les sols pauvres.
Lumière: Fonctionne mieux en plein soleil.
Eau: Préfère les conditions sèches et ne tolère pas les conditions trop humides ou détrempées. Susceptible de développer la pourriture des racines s'il est trop arrosé dans un sol mal drainé.

Hivernage : S'il est planté dans sa zone la plus froide (5), il bénéficie d'un emplacement de jardin original dans une zone protégée des vents forts et glaciaux en hiver. Si déjà planté dans un couloir froid, recouvrez de paillis.
Entretien & Taille : S'il commence à devenir boisé et long, revenez à la dernière couche de vert sain et il grossira. Au printemps, tous les vieux feuillages peuvent être coupés.
