Espacement des plantes

L'espacement des plantes est basé sur la largeur ultime des plantes. Ce chiffre est normalement donné sous forme de fourchette; par exemple, 3-5'. Description Carex étoilé de l'Est (ou Carex radié) peut ressembler à votre carex moyen au printemps. Cependant, lorsqu'elle fleurit en été, vous serez émerveillé par ses grappes de fleurs en forme d'étoile ! Les tiges florales s'élèvent au-dessus des touffes de feuillage vert avec des épillets qui ressemblent à de petites étoiles. Ils deviennent encore plus importants à mesure qu'ils se transforment en akènes (ou graines) à l'automne. Il sert de source de nourriture pour les oiseaux lorsqu'il est laissé debout à la fin de l'automne et en hiver.

Le carex oriental est une plante vivace indigène d'Amérique du Nord qui nécessite peu d'entretien et est facile à cultiver. Il tolère un large éventail de sols, mais pousse mieux dans les zones humides ou mouillées - comme dans les jardins pluviaux, les tourbières ou le long des étangs et des ruisseaux.
