Espacement des plantes

L'espacement des plantes est basé sur la largeur ultime des plantes. Ce chiffre est normalement donné sous forme de fourchette; par exemple, 3-5'. Si vous vivez dans un climat froid et/ou souhaitez que les plantes se remplissent plus rapidement, prévoyez un espacement à l'extrémité la plus courte de la plage. Si vous vivez dans un climat chaud, avez un budget limité ou êtes prêt à attendre plus longtemps que les plantes se touchent, utilisez le haut de gamme. Il est recommandé d'utiliser le plus grand nombre lors du calcul de la distance à partir d'un bâtiment ou d'une structure. Il n'y a vraiment pas d'"espacement maximum": si vous ne voulez pas que vos plantes se touchent, vous pouvez les espacer autant que vous le souhaitez. Tous les espacements des plantes sont calculés au centre, ou en d'autres termes, les centres des plantes sont espacés de la moitié de leur largeur éventuelle :

Description Économisez 7 $ sur l'achat de chaque plante individuellement. Ce n'est pas parce que votre jardin est ombragé qu'il ne peut pas être lumineux et beau. Cette collection comprend 3 plantes (taille 1 litre) qui égayent vos endroits ombragés avec un feuillage vibrant et des fleurs colorées. Cette collection comprend un de chacun des éléments suivants : DÉTAILS Zone: 5 – 8
Exposition au soleil: Ombre (<4 heures de soleil), Partie soleil (4-6 heures de soleil)
Hauteur x largeur : varie de 15 à 36", selon la plante

 Comment grandir Terre: Tout sol bien drainé fera l'affaire. 'Bowles Golden' Sedge peut prendre un peu d'humidité, mais les deux autres plantes doivent être cultivées du côté le plus sec.
Léger: Ombre à mi-soleil
L'eau: Moyenne. Arrosez régulièrement jusqu'à ce qu'il soit établi.
Fertilisation: Astilbe est un gros mangeur qui a besoin de beaucoup de nutriments. Fertilisez tôt au printemps pour produire des fleurs saines avec un mélange d'engrais 5-10-5. Après la floraison, appliquez une poignée supplémentaire d'engrais autour de la base de la plante. Pour les deux autres plantes, la fertilisation est généralement inutile mais peut être appliquée au printemps si nécessaire.
Hivernage: Aucun soin particulier n'est nécessaire. Laisser le feuillage rester debout en hiver pour améliorer la survie hivernale. Paillez si vous le souhaitez.
Entretien & Taille: Carex 'Bowles Golden' - coupez le feuillage au sol au début du printemps dans les zones où il ne pousse pas comme un feuillage persistant. Hosta 'Stained Glass' - toilettez les plantes en enlevant les feuilles jaunes ou mortes et en coupant les épis de fleurs lorsqu'ils finissent de fleurir en été. Astilbe-Aucun deadheading n'est requis à moins que vous n'aimiez pas l'apparence des fleurs fanées. S'ils sont laissés allumés, ils procurent un intérêt hivernal au jardin. Divisez les racines de la plante au début du printemps ou à la fin de l'automne lorsque la plante est en dormance.
