Espacement des plantes

L'espacement des plantes est basé sur la largeur ultime des plantes. Ce chiffre est normalement donné sous forme de fourchette; par exemple, 3-5'. Si vous vivez dans un climat froid et/ou souhaitez que les plantes se remplissent plus rapidement, prévoyez un espacement à l'extrémité la plus courte de la plage. Si vous vivez dans un climat chaud, avez un budget limité ou êtes prêt à attendre plus longtemps que les plantes se touchent, utilisez le haut de gamme. Il est recommandé d'utiliser le plus grand nombre lors du calcul de la distance à partir d'un bâtiment ou d'une structure. Il n'y a vraiment pas d'"espacement maximum": si vous ne voulez pas que vos plantes se touchent, vous pouvez les espacer autant que vous le souhaitez. Description Soignée, petite et super sucrée : c'est la camerise japonaise Yezberry Sugar Pie (Lonicera caerulea) ! Développé en Oregon par l'inimitable Dr Maxine Thompson, cet arbuste facile à cultiver produit des fruits uniques et vraiment savoureux que vous ne trouverez pas dans les magasins. Il n'est pas difficile sur le sol, n'a pas besoin d'élagage spécial et n'a pas besoin de pulvérisation ou de traitements antiparasitaires pour vous obtenir une récolte importante de délicieuses baies. Quel goût ont les baies ? Un peu comme un croisement entre une framboise et une myrtille, bien qu'elles ne soient liées à aucune de ces plantes notoirement difficiles à cultiver. Ils ont la douceur d'une framboise avec une pointe d'acidité agréable. Nous aimons aussi que la peau se dissolve lorsque vous les mangez - elle ne se détache pas et ne colle pas à vos dents comme le fait une myrtille. Les pépins sont minuscules mais ne se coincent pas dans les dents comme les framboises. Ils sont délicieux et valent vraiment la peine d'être cultivés ! Remarque : un pollinisateur est requis. Fertilisation: Peu nécessaire. Si désiré, fertilisez au début du printemps, une fois le sol dégelé, avec un engrais granulé pour rosier.
Hivernage : Une bonne couche de paillis de 2 à 3 po est recommandée.
Entretien:  Les plantes ne doivent pas être taillées avant d'avoir passé 3 ans dans le sol, puis immédiatement après la récolte UNIQUEMENT. Les baies commencent à mûrir au début de l'été, à peu près au même moment que les fraises. Ils deviennent bleu foncé avant d'avoir atteint le pic de douceur, alors goûtez une baie pour la saveur avant de procéder à la récolte. Si ce n'est pas assez sucré, attendez quelques jours de plus.
