Espacement des plantes

L'espacement des plantes est basé sur la largeur ultime des plantes. Ce chiffre est normalement donné sous forme de fourchette; par exemple, 3-5'. Si vous vivez dans un climat froid et/ou souhaitez que les plantes se remplissent plus rapidement, prévoyez un espacement à l'extrémité la plus courte de la plage. Si vous vivez dans un climat chaud, avez un budget limité ou êtes prêt à attendre plus longtemps que les plantes se touchent, utilisez le haut de gamme. Il est recommandé d'utiliser le plus grand nombre lors du calcul de la distance à partir d'un bâtiment ou d'une structure. Il n'y a vraiment pas d'"espacement maximum": si vous ne voulez pas que vos plantes se touchent, vous pouvez les espacer autant que vous le souhaitez. Tous les espacements des plantes sont calculés au centre, ou en d'autres termes, les centres des plantes sont espacés de la moitié de leur largeur éventuelle :

Description Enflammez votre jardin avec les teintes ardentes et brillantes des cloches de corail rouge Forever® (Heuchère). Cette nouvelle cloche de corail a une habitude de monticule bas, atteignant seulement 7 cm de haut avec des feuilles ébouriffées et quelque peu coupées. Bien que de taille plus petite que d'autres formes rouges, elle développe plus de couronnes pour un aspect plus complet dans le jardin. La meilleure partie est que le feuillage la couleur ne s'estompe jamais, ce qui a valu à cette heuchera le nom de Forever® Red. Ce couvre-sol d'ombre est supérieur aux autres variétés avec un feuillage résistant à la couleur, un port de couronnement vigoureux et une plus grande tolérance à l'exposition au soleil. De plus, l'entretien est un jeu d'enfant. Essayez de le planter en combinaison jardinières, plates-bandes mixtes ou en masse !  Comment grandir Sol: Les cloches de corail aiment un pH de sol neutre à légèrement acide, quelque part entre 6.0 et 7.0. Un bon drainage est indispensable, surtout dans les zones ombragées.
Lumière: En règle générale, les Heucheras se portent bien à l'ombre, mais un peu de soleil matinal fera ressortir une coloration plus intense. Trop de lumière fera brûler les feuilles.
Eau: Gardez le sol uniformément humide mais pas constamment humide pour éviter la pourriture des racines. Pour réduire le risque de maladie foliaire, arrosez Heuchera tôt le matin afin que l'excès d'humidité puisse s'évaporer le soir.

Fertilisation: La fertilisation est généralement inutile à moins que le sol ne soit appauvri en éléments nutritifs. Envisagez d'appliquer du compost pour fournir des nutriments et de la matière organique. Évitez toute fertilisation en automne et en hiver.
Hivernage : Le paillage hivernal empêchera le gel et le dégel qui peuvent tuer les racines des plantes.
Entretien & taille : Coupez toute la tige florale après la floraison pour mettre l'énergie de la plante dans la croissance de plus de feuilles. Divisez les cloches de corail tous les 3 à 5 ans pour éviter qu'elles ne meurent au centre.
